Casio has unveiled their latest G-Shock watch, the GW-6905K-7A, designed in collaboration with the International Cetacean Education Research Centre (ICERC) Japan. This partnership, running for over three decades, continues to celebrate marine life with its latest release, themed ‘Love The Sea And The Earth.’
The GW-6905K-7A elegantly pays tribute to the humpback whale, showcasing its motif in the LED backlight, on the central button, and along the watch strap. This two-tone timepiece features a sleek white resin casing and strap, contrasted by a dark blue strap, with the digital display bordered in a rich blue accented by lighter tones.
As a member of the radio-controlled G-Shock series equipped with Multiband 6, the watch supports world time across 48 cities. It includes practical functions like a 1/100 second stopwatch, countdown timer, and five daily alarms, many of which are integrated with the watch’s triple graph. In addition to displaying the time, date, and weekday, the device offers a battery indicator, power-saving mode, and is powered by Tough Solar technology.
Set to launch in Japan this August, the GW-6905K-7A will retail at approximately ¥28,050, around $190. Global release details remain unconfirmed, keeping enthusiasts eager for its arrival.
