Casio is celebrating the season with a fresh Japan-only collaboration that blends iconic G-Shock toughness with airline-inspired style. The new Casio G-Shock x All Nippon Airways (ANA) DW-5600 takes the brand’s legendary square design and gives it an aviation makeover, complete with ANA branding, flight-themed strap details, and a fun surprise when the backlight comes on.
Set to appear through ANA’s stores and online sales channels in Japan, the limited collab is priced at ¥19,800 (around $127). It’s geared toward collectors, travelers, and anyone who loves clean, minimalist watches with a strong theme.
A crisp white G-Shock with ANA’s signature colors
This ANA edition sticks to an all-white resin case and band, creating a bright, modern look that stands out from the usual blacked-out G-Shock squares. Soft blue accents tie the design to ANA’s familiar airline color palette, giving the watch a polished, travel-ready vibe without getting flashy.
On the dial, you still get the classic DW-5600 layout that G-Shock fans know by heart, but the branding is changed for a co-branded “ANA / Casio” logo above the digital display. It leans more corporate and official than a typical fashion collab, which makes sense for an airline partnership.
Strap graphics that feel like airline merch (in a good way)
One of the most distinctive parts of the watch is the strap design. Instead of keeping it plain, Casio and ANA went all-in with airport-style text, route-like markings, and a bold airplane graphic running down the center. It’s busy on purpose—more like something you’d pick up as premium airline merchandise than a standard retail G-Shock.
Flip it over and the case back continues the theme, featuring an engraved ANA logo on the steel backplate.
The airplane backlight is the detail collectors will talk about
The standout feature arrives when you press the light button. Rather than a standard illumination, the LED backlight reveals an airplane silhouette across the display. It’s subtle when you’re in brighter conditions, but in the dark it becomes the watch’s signature party trick—and likely the detail that turns this from a simple colorway into a true collectible.
Classic DW-5600 performance: tough, waterproof, and simple
Under the aviation styling, this remains a traditional DW-5600—meaning durability and everyday practicality are the main draw. You’re getting the tried-and-true G-Shock essentials:
Shock resistance
200-meter water resistance
Stopwatch
Countdown timer
Alarm
LED backlight
This model keeps things old-school: no solar charging and no radio time sync. It’s the familiar, battery-powered G-Shock square that’s been a favorite for decades.
Collector-style packaging and a Japan-only release (for now)
Casio also leans into the collaboration feel with special ANA co-branded packaging, including a themed box and a round presentation case. That extra presentation makes it feel less like a standard retail watch and more like a souvenir-grade collector item—perfect for gifting or display.
At the moment, the Casio G-Shock x ANA DW-5600 appears to be exclusive to Japan, which could make it especially appealing for G-Shock collectors who chase region-limited releases.
