Casio is rumored to be preparing a fresh pair of G-Shock collaboration watches with the International Cetacean Education Research Centre (ICERC), and early leaks suggest they’re going for a striking summer-ready look. Two new models have reportedly surfaced ahead of launch: the GA-B2100KB-2A (also listed as GA-B2100KB-2AJR) and a Frogman variant, the GW-8202K-2 (or GW-8202K-2JR).
Both watches are said to feature a light blue transparent resin case paired with a matching strap, creating a clear, ocean-inspired style that immediately stands out. The design is reminiscent of other transparent G-Shock releases, but this ICERC edition reportedly adds its own character through contrast details, including a black dial and a light-toned display background for readability. One especially eye-catching detail: the GA-B2100KB-2A appears to include a small blue whale motif acting as the indicator at the 9 o’clock sub-dial position, reinforcing the marine conservation theme tied to ICERC.
The GA-B2100KB-2A is expected to deliver the practical, everyday versatility that has made the GA-B2100 series so popular. Leaked information points to Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone pairing, support for 38 world time zones, and multiple daily alarms. It’s also rumored to include Casio’s Carbon Core Guard Structure for enhanced durability, along with Tough Solar charging to help extend battery life—two features many fans look for in a modern G-Shock built for daily wear.
The second model, the GW-8202K-2 Frogman, leans heavily into true tool-watch territory. The Frogman line is known for diver-focused construction, and this release is rumored to continue that tradition with ISO-rated 200-meter water resistance and a screw-lock case back. Expected ocean and dive-related features include dive time measurement, surface interval tracking, tide graphs, and moon data—useful additions for anyone who wants more than just a rugged watch aesthetic.
These upcoming ICERC collaboration watches would follow earlier ICERC releases from 2025, including the BGA-2800K-7A and GW-6950K-7A, suggesting Casio may be continuing an annual tradition of conservation-themed limited editions.
As of now, Casio has not officially announced either model. Still, the latest rumors claim the GA-B2100KB-2A and GW-8202K-2 will launch in Japan in June 2026. It’s also worth keeping expectations in check regarding availability, as ICERC collaboration G-Shock watches have often been Japan-exclusive in the past.
If the leaks are accurate, these two transparent blue G-Shock ICERC watches could quickly become sought-after releases for collectors—especially those who love ocean-inspired designs, limited collaboration editions, and the tough, functional reputation the G-Shock name is built on.
