Velo de Ville has introduced its latest e-bike, the 2024 AEB 990. As a part of the Allround series, this bike is designed for versatility, catering to the needs of city commuters as well as off-road adventurers tackling challenging terrains such as field trails and gravel paths.
This new model is distinguished by its extensive customization options, allowing riders to tailor the bike to their personal preferences and requirements. At the core of the AEB 990 is the Bosch Performance Line CX motor, which offers a robust 85Nm of torque, with pedal assistance that can reach speeds of up to 25 kph (approximately 16 mph).
The standard configuration includes a 500Wh Bosch battery, with opportunities to enhance your ride further by upgrading to a higher capacity 625Wh battery or by adding the PowerMore 250Wh range extender for extended trips.
The AEB 990 features a variety of frame options, such as the diamond intube, wave intube, and trapeze intube designs, which all neatly house the battery. Riders have the luxury of picking from eight various gearing setups sourced from reputable brands including Shimano, Enviolo, and Rohloff. These come with stepless shifting hubs and span across 5-speed to 14-speed systems.

As for the display, the AEB 990 comes with either a Bosch Intuvia 100 or Bosch Purion 200, at no extra charge. For a premium, customers can opt for three other display models, including the feature-rich Bosch Kiox 500.
The e-bike is also kitted with fundamental components like the Shimano Disc MT200 brakes and Schwalbe Smart Sam tires, ensuring a safe and comfortable ride. Moreover, Velo de Ville makes it easy for riders to select and personalize their bicycles, offering part-by-part customization or the choice of pre-defined equipment packages under titles such as Ergonomy, Light, and Comfort.
