Vivo is pushing the “big battery, fast charging” formula even further with the new Vivo Y600 Pro, an affordable smartphone built around a massive 10,200 mAh battery. It’s paired with 90 W fast charging, aiming to deliver multi-day endurance while still keeping top-ups relatively quick compared to most phones in the same price range.
Powering the Vivo Y600 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e. This chip is closely related to the Dimensity 7300, featuring the same Cortex-A55 efficiency cores, but its Cortex-A78 performance cores are clocked 300 MHz lower, topping out at 2.5 GHz. Graphics performance is also toned down, swapping the Mali-G615 MP2 for the more modest Mali-G610 MC2. In practical terms, this suggests solid everyday speed and decent gaming at sensible settings, but it’s clearly tuned more for efficiency and value than peak performance.
On the front, Vivo includes a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 2,800 x 1,260 resolution and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. That combination should translate into crisp visuals, fluid scrolling, and an overall premium feel for media consumption and daily use.
Camera hardware keeps things straightforward. Despite the large rear camera housing, the Y600 Pro offers a 32 MP selfie camera and a 50 MP main rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, focusing more on a clean, capable main shooter setup rather than a multi-lens stack.
Pricing is positioned aggressively for the specs. The Vivo Y600 Pro starts at CNY 2,099 (around $305) for 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The 8 GB RAM model is also available with 256 GB for CNY 2,299 (about $335) and 512 GB for CNY 2,599 (about $380). At the top end, Vivo offers a 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage configuration for CNY 2,899 (roughly $425).
For buyers watching battery size, charging speed, and a high-refresh AMOLED screen without jumping into flagship pricing, the Vivo Y600 Pro stands out as a compelling option. Vivo hasn’t confirmed whether the Y600 Pro will launch globally, so availability outside its initial market remains unclear for now.
