Intel’s upcoming mainstream and entry-level Arrow Lake-S Desktop CPUs, including models such as the Core Ultra 5 245, Ultra 5 235, and Ultra 3 205, have been revealed in a recent leak. The details suggest that Intel plans to expand its Arrow Lake-S lineup extensively with new midrange SKUs, including the introduction of a Core Ultra 3 model.
As the launch of Intel’s Arrow Lake-S “Core Ultra 200” Desktop CPUs draws near, more specifics about the additional CPU models are coming to light, providing a clearer picture of what to expect in the next-generation lineup. Notable hardware leaker Raichu has shared information on three Arrow Lake-S CPUs that fall into the budget segment. This includes the Core Ultra 5 245, Core Ultra 5 235, and Core Ultra 3 205 non-K SKUs.
Raichu has confirmed the clock speeds for these variants. The Core Ultra 5 245 is expected to have a base clock of 3.4 GHz, with P-Cores reaching up to 5.1 GHz and all-core boost frequencies hitting 4.9 GHz. The Core Ultra 5 235, slightly behind the 245, features a maximum P-Core boost of 5.0 GHz and an all-core boost of 4.8 GHz.
The entry-level Core Ultra 3 205 is described as the first octa-core “Core i3 replacement” in the lineup. This CPU is reported to have a base clock of 3.9 GHz and reach up to 4.8 GHz in P-Core boost. Thanks to the new Lion Cove P-Cores and Skymont E-Cores architectures, the Core Ultra 3 205 is expected to offer significant generational upgrades, making it competitive with previous-gen CPUs like the Core i3 14100/F.
The Arrow Lake-S CPU family is anticipated to launch by October 10, poised to compete with AMD’s Ryzen 9000 series. This rivalry will be interesting to watch as Intel’s new lineup enters the market.
