Monster Hunter Wilds

Title Update 3 Stampedes into Monster Hunter Wilds This Month

Hunters, mark your calendars: Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 3 arrives September 29 on all platforms, bringing a major collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV and a stacked roster of new quests, gear, and cosmetic rewards. Capcom also confirmed Title Update 4 for December, headlined by the return of the colossal Gogmazios and additional end-game content.

The centerpiece of Title Update 3 is the dimension-hopping Omega Planetes, a crossover boss that imports signature mechanics from Final Fantasy XIV. Expect coordinated strategies and tight teamwork as you partner with visitors from Eorzea to take down this multi-phase threat.

The collaboration goes deeper with two iconic FFXIV jobs joining the hunt:
– Dark Knight: Wield a two-handed greatsword and the power of darkness. Equip the Bale Armor α and activate the Soul of the Dark Knight series skill to unlock The Blackest Night. Pair it with the Shadowbringer Great Sword to access an exclusive weapon skill.
– Pictomancer: Paint victory into existence. Use the Soul of the Pictomancer item to cast pictomancy spells like Pom Motif directly from your item pouch.

Hunters can also outfit their companions with new Palico and Seikret gear, and pick up fresh cosmetics, including a themed pendant and a new gesture.

Beyond the crossover, Title Update 3 expands high-level challenges and rewards:
– Arch-tempered Nu Udra becomes a permanent Event Quest, featuring exclusive materials for crafting powerful equipment.
– New quests offer rarity 8 Artian materials to upgrade your arsenal.
– A limited-time Seregios Challenge Quest puts your skills to the test.
– An Arch-tempered Nu Udra Free Challenge Quest delivers another path to premium loot.
– Four nostalgic gestures arrive as free DLC, alongside Cosmetic DLC Pack 3 and additional paid cosmetic options.

Seasonal festivities are also on the horizon. This fall’s Festival of Accord: Dreamspell transforms the Grand Hub with eerie, celebratory decor and introduces new Event Quests with themed in-game rewards.

Looking ahead, December’s Title Update 4 will unleash Gogmazios on the Forbidden Lands. Veterans know what that means: a towering siege-style threat and fresh systems to push late-game builds even further.

Monster Hunter Wilds is available now on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. Get ready to sharpen your blades, rally your hunting party, and dive into the Final Fantasy XIV collaboration when Title Update 3 drops on September 29.
