Stunning Renders Reveal Casio’s Sleek G-Steel Collection

Casio’s eagerly anticipated G-Steel makeover might be closer than we think. Initially hinted at through a regulatory listing in April, the G-Shock GST-B1000D series has now emerged in leaked renders, showcasing its sleek design and impressive specifications.

Shared by a well-known Instagram tipster, the images reveal three striking analog G-Steel models: the GST-B1000D-1A in Gray, B1000D-2A in Blue, and B1000D-3A in Green. These new renditions boast a refined bezel design, shedding the bulky outer markings of previous models for a sophisticated, minimalist metal frame that preserves the premium feel without overwhelming the senses.

Measuring 46.9 x 44.2 x 11.6mm and weighing in at 118g, the GST-B1000 is considerably more compact than its predecessor, the GST-B100D-1A, which is larger and heavier. The new design incorporates a blend of resin and reinforced steel for the case, complemented by a stainless steel band. The polished aesthetics and well-balanced proportions suggest this model is designed with professionals in mind.

While the watch lacks a digital display, it features two inset dials for timekeeping and solar battery status. Highlights include Tough Solar charging and Bluetooth connectivity, enabling precise time calibration and customizations through the Casio app.

As for pricing, it is expected to range between €350 and €450, positioning the GST-B1000D as a premium option within the G-Steel lineup. Although the official launch date remains under wraps, sightings at European retailers hint at a possible debut as soon as August. Get ready for a timepiece that seamlessly combines style and functionality, perfect for those who appreciate elegant design.
