Casio has started rolling out two new G-Shock Modern Industrial watches across Europe, giving buyers another chance to grab the brand’s latest monochrome, metal-bezel designs without importing. After first launching in Japan a few weeks ago and already appearing in markets like the United States, the GM-5600 and GM-2100 Modern Industrial models are now showing up in multiple European countries.
Both watches lean into an industrial, all-business look, pairing a textured metal bezel with mostly black styling and small red accents for contrast. The bezels also feature openings designed to reveal the center case, adding a more mechanical, layered appearance that stands out from smoother, more traditional finishes.
The GM-5600M-1 is the classic digital option in the lineup. It comes with a black-background display, a silver-tone stainless steel bezel, and a black urethane band—an easy match for everyday wear while keeping that unmistakable square G-Shock identity.
If you prefer an analog look with extra digital convenience, the GM-2100M-1A offers a hybrid layout. It features a black dial, a dark inset digital display, a silver-colored bezel, and the same black strap. The result is a modern, stealthy take on the popular “CasiOak” shape, with the added edge of a patterned metal bezel.
In terms of features, Casio keeps things consistent across both models. Buyers get a 1/100th-second stopwatch, a countdown timer, and an alarm. There’s also an LED backlight to improve readability in low light, plus robust 200-meter water resistance—making these watches suitable for swimming and daily rough-and-tumble use, as you’d expect from G-Shock.
Availability and pricing are already confirmed through Casio’s online store in several European countries, including the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany. The Casio G-Shock GM-2100M-1A is listed at €229, while the G-Shock GM-5600M-1 comes in at €209. One important detail for shoppers: these models are restricted to Casio ID members. The good news is that creating a Casio ID account is free, so it’s more of an extra step than a paywall.
As for the rest of the Modern Industrial series, two additional variants—GM-2100BM-1A and GM-5600BM-1—feature black ion-plated elements. For now, Casio hasn’t confirmed whether (or when) those versions will arrive in European markets.
For fans of rugged everyday watches, minimalist monochrome styling, and metal-accented G-Shock designs, the new GM-5600M-1 and GM-2100M-1A Modern Industrial releases are shaping up to be two of the more compelling new Casio G-Shock options currently available in Europe.
