A new challenger is stepping into the handheld arena with a bold promise: glasses-free 3D on a big-screen portable. Abxylute has unveiled the 3D ONE, an 11-inch Windows gaming handheld that claims “true” native 3D rendering without the need for eyewear, aiming to deliver a deeper, more immersive experience than traditional flat displays.
At the heart of the device is Intel’s Core Ultra 7 258V paired with Arc 140V graphics. That combo should comfortably handle many modern titles, but there’s an important caveat: the 3D ONE uses a sharp 2560×1600 panel that can run at up to 120 Hz. QHD+ resolution at high refresh rates is demanding for any integrated GPU, and early demo footage suggests heavy hitters like Cyberpunk 2077 may require settings tweaks or resolution adjustments to maintain smooth gameplay. Even so, plenty of games should run well, especially when targeting moderate settings.
The headline feature is the autostereoscopic 3D display. Abxylute says it’s building a curated library of individually tuned games to ensure clean, floaty UI elements with minimal ghosting, stronger depth, lower latency, and reduced performance overhead versus generic 3D conversions. More than 50 titles are said to be optimized at launch, with more to follow. Beyond gaming, the company also touts support for movies, stereo side-by-side films, and 3D videos.
Battery life may be a sticking point for marathon sessions: the 3D ONE carries a 50 Wh pack. On the flip side, the handheld’s connectivity and storage are robust, with fast LPDDR5X memory, a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, Thunderbolt 4, and UHS-II microSD expansion. The device ships in white and includes front-facing dual cameras for RGB and IR capture, plus stereo speakers.
The Kickstarter campaign is slated to go live on November 19, 2025. Early Bird pricing starts at $1,499, with a planned retail price of $1,799. Abxylute says the first 80 units are expected to ship in December, with broader deliveries targeted for February 2026.
Who it’s for: players who prioritize cutting-edge immersion and a large display in a portable form factor, and who don’t mind tuning settings for the most demanding games. If glasses-free 3D has been on your wish list, the 3D ONE might be the most ambitious attempt yet in a handheld.
