Rumors have been swirling that Nvidia is poised to introduce its RTX 50-series GPUs, potentially unveiling them at CES 2025. While reports indicate that Nvidia has ceased the production of most RTX 40-series GPUs, it appears the RTX 4050 will persist alongside its successor. The main difference is that the RTX 5050 is expected to cater to gaming laptops with a heftier price tag.
Currently, you can snag a gaming laptop featuring an RTX 4050 GPU like the MSI Thin 15 for under $1,000, making it an enticing option for budget-conscious gamers.
