With Galaxy Unpacked just around the corner, excitement is building as details about Samsung’s upcoming foldable smartphones continue to emerge. Recently, specifications for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, and Galaxy Watch 8 have surfaced, adding to the anticipation.
New leaks reveal insights into these devices. While previous Geekbench listings suggested the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE would feature an Exynos 2400 SoC, a spec sheet hints at both the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and its FE variant being equipped with an Exynos 2500. This could be a typo, but it’s not entirely implausible.
If both models share the same SoC, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE might bear a striking resemblance to the standard version. Each boasts a 6.9-inch FHD+ screen, dual 50 MP and 12 MP rear cameras, a 10 MP selfie camera, and a 4,300 mAh battery. Differences are expected in the cover screen and memory/storage options, with the Flip 7 offering 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, while the FE version provides 8 GB and 128 GB.
In another development, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will combine its 200 MP main camera with two additional sensors (12 MP and 10 MP). However, it won’t see a battery upgrade, maintaining the same 4,400 mAh capacity as its predecessor. The thinner design might pose durability concerns, but it surely adds to the sleek appeal.
As the official reveal approaches, all eyes are on Samsung to see how these innovations will shape the future of foldable technology.
