IKEA’s Next Mini Bluetooth Speaker Is Coming Soon

IKEA is expanding its lineup of affordable audio gear with a new pocket-friendly option: the Kallsup Bluetooth speaker. Unveiled at CES 2026, the Kallsup stands out as a simple, compact portable speaker designed for everyday listening at home, in a dorm room, or on the go. It follows other recent IKEA audio releases like the Solskydd speaker and the Kulglass speaker lamp, continuing the brand’s push into accessible, lifestyle-focused tech.

The Kallsup keeps things minimal with a cube-shaped design and a small set of physical buttons. Controls are handled with two buttons for power and Bluetooth pairing, and IKEA notes that the speaker provides audible feedback so you know what it’s doing without needing to check a screen. Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 5.3.

One of the most interesting features is multi-speaker pairing. IKEA says you can connect up to 100 Kallsup speakers together for a bigger, more room-filling sound setup. That could make it appealing for parties, shared spaces, or anyone who wants to scale up audio without investing in a complex system.

Portability is a key focus. The Kallsup includes an integrated battery, with IKEA estimating about nine hours of playback at 50% volume. Charging is done via USB-C, and the battery is described as replaceable, which could be a plus for long-term use compared to many budget speakers that are effectively disposable once the battery degrades.

Physically, the speaker is very compact, measuring 2.75 x 2.75 x 2.75 inches (around 70 x 70 x 70 mm). It has a plastic housing and four small feet on the bottom to help keep it stable on a desk, shelf, or countertop. IKEA is also leaning into playful styling with three color choices: hot pink, bright green, and white.

As for release details, the IKEA Kallsup Bluetooth speaker is scheduled to launch in the US in April 2026 with a price of $10. European availability hasn’t been confirmed yet. For shoppers looking for a super affordable Bluetooth speaker with modern connectivity, USB-C charging, and the option to link many units together, the Kallsup could be one of the most budget-friendly portable speakers arriving in 2026.
