IKEA has started selling its new Kulglass Bluetooth speaker lamp in select markets across North America and Europe, giving shoppers a stylish two-in-one device that blends ambient lighting with room-filling sound. Recently revealed as part of a broader collection created with designer Tekla Evelina Severin (Teklan), the Kulglass is positioned as a mood-setter that can fit both quiet evenings and louder gatherings.
At its core, the Kulglass is designed to make everyday listening and lighting simpler. With Bluetooth connectivity, you can stream music, podcasts, or audiobooks wirelessly from a phone, tablet, or laptop. It also supports Spotify Tap, which lets you quickly jump back into whatever you were last playing, or start a new playlist based on your favorite artists—handy when you want music instantly without scrolling through menus.
IKEA says the Kulglass delivers “rich and powerful” audio, powered by a 1-inch tweeter and a 3.5-inch woofer. For bigger sound, the lamp includes a multi-speaker mode that allows you to link multiple compatible Bluetooth speakers so audio can spread more evenly through a space—useful for parties or larger rooms.
On the lighting side, the Kulglass features a colored glass shade that creates a soft, diffused glow rather than harsh direct light. Both the lamp brightness and speaker volume are controlled with an integrated knob, and you can switch between light and audio controls using dedicated buttons. IKEA lists the product dimensions as 15 x 79 x 11 inches (about 267 x 387 x 200 mm).
The IKEA Kulglass Bluetooth speaker lamp is available in two colorways. In the United States, the dark green version is priced at $99.99, while the red brown/pink variant costs $129.99. In several EU countries including Spain, France, and Germany, both colors are priced at €99.99.
One important detail for buyers: the light bulb is not included. IKEA recommends pairing it with an LED E27 globe bulb, which is sold separately.
