Hollow Knight: Silksong Physical Edition Launches This October for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2
Hollow Knight: Silksong is getting a physical release, giving collectors and fans another reason to return to Pharloom this fall. Fangamer has announced that the Hollow Knight: Silksong physical edition will arrive on October 16 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2.
Preorders for the physical edition are now available, making it a great option for players who prefer boxed games or want something collectible to add to their shelf. With Hollow Knight: Silksong being one of the most anticipated indie sequels in recent years, this release is likely to be especially appealing to longtime fans of Team Cherry’s acclaimed action-adventure series.
The Hollow Knight: Silksong physical edition includes a physical copy of the game, a 32-page manual, and a 9-inch by 12-inch poster illustrated by Rubén Molina. The inclusion of a printed manual adds a nostalgic touch, while the poster gives fans a stylish piece of artwork connected to the game’s haunting world and atmosphere.
Fangamer also plans to release a physical edition of the original Hollow Knight for Switch 2 and PlayStation 5, giving newer players a chance to own both games physically on modern platforms.
One detail worth noting is that the upcoming Sea of Sorrow DLC will not be included on the physical disc or cartridge. However, players will still be able to download the DLC for free when it becomes available.
