Garmin is expected to unveil the Fenix E smartwatch soon, promising an affordable alternative to the upcoming Fenix 8 series. According to reliable sources, the Fenix E will come in a single 47 mm size. While the Fenix 8 series is anticipated in multiple sizes (43 mm, 47 mm, and 51 mm), the Fenix E will provide a more budget-friendly option without compromising on essential features.
The Fenix E is speculated to feature a 47 mm case, a 1.3-inch display covered with Corning Gorilla Glass, a 316L stainless steel bezel, a stainless steel back, and a fibre-reinforced polymer case. This model is expected to offer up to 16 days of battery life but will not include solar charging capabilities.
Additional features include 10 ATM water resistance and 16 GB of internal storage. However, the Fenix E will not incorporate a built-in microphone or speaker, features that are set to be exclusive to the Fenix 8 series. Pricing for the Fenix E is expected to be $799.99 in the US and €799.99 in Europe, and it will be available with two strap options and finishes.
