Ducati Unveils the Futa All-Road Carbon Fiber E-Bike

Ducati, the renowned name in the motorcycle industry, has introduced the Futa All-Road, its latest electric bicycle. This e-bike is an advancement of the original Futa that made its debut towards the end of 2022. Ducati emphasizes that this new e-bike boasts enhanced performance capabilities over the previous model.

The Futa All-Road retains the reliable rear hub motor known as the FSA System HM 1.0 found in the standard Futa model. This powerful motor offers a maximum power output of 250W and delivers a robust torque of 42Nm. Riders can choose from five support levels to assist them in cruising comfortably at speeds of up to 25 kph (approximately 16 mph). The e-bike features a 250Wh battery neatly integrated into the downtube, which can be paired with an optional range extender for long-distance rides. Cyclists can also utilize the FSA app to monitor their trip details and check battery life.

Further enhancements can be seen in the updated drivetrain and controls. Ducati has opted for the SRAM Rival eTap AXS groupset instead of the original FSA K-Force. This addition includes 160 mm disc brakes and boasts a 2×12-speed wireless electronic gear shifting system, ensuring a smooth and modern biking experience. Additionally, the e-bike is equipped with Vittoria Terreno Dry tires, which are broader for improved grip and control — 38mm for the front and 35mm for the rear.

For those who are keen on adventure and bikepacking, Ducati has decked the bike with a Skuad bag set conducive for long journeys. The aesthetics and robust design are embodied by the monocoque carbon fiber frame, contributing to the bike’s lightweight feature, with a size M frame weighing in at around 12.4 kg (approximately 27.3 lbs).

If you are excited about the prospects of owning this high-quality electric bike, you can look forward to its availability at Ducati dealers from June, offered in a range of four sizes from XS to L. Although the price point has yet to be confirmed, there are speculations that it may be set around €7,690 (or about $8,340).

Moreover, for those eager to see the Ducati Futa All-Road up close, you will have the opportunity to do so at the Eurobike fair, scheduled to take place in Frankfurt this July. This launch represents Ducati’s continued commitment to innovation in electric mobility and providing cyclists with a premium on-and off-road biking experience.
