DJI Osmo Pocket 4 leak teases slimmer body, big weight drop, and a new dual‑camera setup
A recent document hints that the Osmo Pocket 4 is getting a thoughtful redesign. Compared with the Osmo Pocket 3, the new model is said to be about 3.5 mm thinner, 4 mm narrower, and 5 mm taller. The real headline, though, is weight: a reported 35% reduction brings it down to just 116 g. For creators and travelers, that could translate to a noticeably lighter, more pocketable gimbal camera that’s easier to carry all day.
Another intriguing change is a rumored move to two cameras while keeping the beloved rotating viewfinder. A dual‑camera system could open the door to more creative flexibility, such as switching between wider and tighter perspectives without accessories, while the rotating screen should continue to make vlogging, selfies, and low‑angle shots simple and intuitive.
On the imaging side, one of the cameras is expected to use OmniVision’s recently announced OV50R40 sensor. While specs remain under wraps, a fresh sensor choice suggests DJI is targeting sharper detail and better performance in challenging light, building on the series’ reputation for smooth, stabilized footage in a truly pocketable form.
Details like frame rates, battery life, and accessories haven’t surfaced yet, but with momentum building, more concrete information about the Osmo Pocket 4 should arrive in the coming weeks. If the leaks hold true, this could be one of the most compelling upgrades yet for creators who want powerful video tools in the smallest possible package.
