Casio is expanding the availability of its Standard W-800HD-1AV digital watch across more European markets, giving shoppers another classic square-display option with a metal bracelet. After appearing in the UK toward the end of January 2026, the silver-toned W-800HD-1AV is now listed for sale in several EU countries, including the Netherlands, Spain, and Germany.
In these EU regions, the Casio Standard W-800HD-1AV is priced at €49.90 through Casio’s online store. That puts it about €10 higher than resin-strap versions in the same W-800 family, such as the W-800H-2AV, which carries an RRP of €39.90. Shipping is an additional €4.95, and delivery is estimated at one to two business days, depending on the destination.
The W-800HD-1AV keeps the familiar, practical Casio look: a square digital display with a light background, dark digits, and a contrasting black frame. The case is made from resin and measures 44.2 x 36.8 x 13.4 mm (around 1.7 x 1.4 x 0.5 inches). Despite the resin case, the watch has a more premium feel than typical entry-level digital models thanks to its stainless steel strap, which secures with a triple-fold clasp. Total weight is listed at 91 g (about 3.2 oz).
Built for everyday wear, the Casio Standard W-800HD-1AV is water resistant up to 10 bar, making it a solid pick for daily use and general water exposure. It also packs in the core features many buyers want from a dependable digital watch: dual time for tracking two time zones, hourly time signals, a multifunctional daily alarm, and a 1/100-second stopwatch. You can switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats, and the display includes the date and day of the week.
For low-light situations, Casio includes a green LED backlight. There’s also a fully automatic calendar programmed through the year 2099, helping the watch stay set with minimal fuss.
At the moment, Casio has not shared any confirmed details about a US release for the Standard W-800HD-1AV.
