Xiaomi Smart Band 11 could arrive in four versions, including ceramic and all-metal models
Xiaomi’s next fitness tracker lineup is starting to take shape, and it may be bigger than expected. Fresh details found inside Xiaomi’s own Health Research app suggest that the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 series could launch in four different versions, giving buyers more choice than the usual standard and NFC models.
According to the app listing, Xiaomi is preparing the Xiaomi Smart Band 11, Xiaomi Smart Band 11 NFC Edition, Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Ceramic Edition, and Xiaomi Smart Band 11 All-metal Edition. The discovery also reportedly included renders for some of the upcoming wearables, offering an early look at what Xiaomi may be planning for its next-generation smart band lineup.
This is notable because earlier certification records had only hinted at two models: a standard version and an NFC-equipped variant. Now, it appears Xiaomi may be expanding the family with more premium design options, including ceramic and a new all-metal edition.
The all-metal version is the most interesting addition so far. Xiaomi has used premium materials before, including aluminum-alloy and ceramic finishes on previous Smart Band models, but an “All-metal Edition” suggests the company could be aiming for a more refined, watch-like feel. It is still unclear whether the entire body will be made from metal or if Xiaomi is simply referring to a metal frame or outer shell.
The Ceramic Edition also points toward a more upscale version of the Smart Band 11. Ceramic materials are often used to give wearables a smoother, more durable, and more premium finish, which could make this version appealing to users who want a fitness tracker that looks a little more luxurious without moving up to a full smartwatch.
It is also worth noting that the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 should not be confused with the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active. Despite the similar naming, the Active model is expected to be a separate product rather than one of these four listed versions.
Some early technical clues have already appeared. Two Xiaomi wearable devices with model numbers M2616B1 and M2617B1 recently passed Chinese radio certification, and these are believed to be connected to the upcoming Smart Band 11 range. While certification listings usually do not reveal many features, they often indicate that a product is moving closer to launch.
For now, Xiaomi has not officially announced the Smart Band 11 release date. However, a September launch window is looking possible, especially as the company is expected to introduce several new products around that time. The Smart Band 11 series could potentially appear alongside Xiaomi’s next major smartphone lineup, including the rumored Xiaomi 18 powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip.
If the four-version lineup is accurate, the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 could become one of the brand’s most versatile fitness tracker releases yet. A standard model would likely target users who want an affordable health and activity tracker, while the NFC Edition could appeal to those who want contactless payment support in supported regions.
