AOTOS is stepping into the spotlight with the Flux X26 series, a new lineup of light electric motos built for riders who want punchy performance, modern tech, and a distinctive mechanical look. Positioned as an intelligent mobility device rather than a typical e-bike, the Flux X26 aims to blend urban commuting convenience with the kind of torque and acceleration that can make wheelies possible—something the company is highlighting as a key part of the bike’s personality.
At the heart of the Flux X26 is a 48V electric drivetrain rated at 750W, with peak output reaching up to 2,000W. AOTOS says the motor can deliver up to 110Nm of torque, which translates into quick launches, strong pull on demand, and confident climbing ability on steep routes. The bike is also designed to handle gradients up to 25%, making it a compelling option for hilly city streets and weekend rides beyond paved roads. Despite the performance focus, it’s intended to remain compliant with Class-2 road regulations, a detail that will matter to riders who want something powerful while still fitting within common e-mobility rules.
Range is another major selling point. Depending on the specific variant, the Flux X26 series is estimated to reach up to 70 miles per charge, giving it the flexibility to cover longer commutes or extended recreational routes without constant charging stops.
Visually, AOTOS leans into a sharp, modern aesthetic. The aluminum alloy frame is styled with angular lines and a sleek, eye-catching profile that’s meant to stand apart from conventional electric bicycles. To support both city riding and light off-road use, the Flux X26 series is equipped with a motorcycle-grade inverted front fork suspension along with dual-spring rear shocks—components designed to help maintain stability, comfort, and control across varying surfaces.
One of the most notable elements is the built-in tech suite powered by FLUX OS. The platform includes a 5.5-inch display and adds features that many riders now expect from premium electric mobility: GPS, anti-theft protection, and app connectivity for checking ride stats and vehicle status. AOTOS also plans OTA (over-the-air) software updates, allowing the system to gain improvements and refinements over time without requiring hardware changes.
The Flux X26 series is launching on Kickstarter on March 25, with early backers getting substantial introductory pricing. The standard Flux X26 starts at $1,199 during the Super Early Bird window, compared to an MSRP of $1,699. The Flux X26 Pro is listed at $1,599 for early supporters, with an MSRP of $2,299.
