Amazfit T-Rex 3: Upcoming Smartwatch Boasts Enhanced Display

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 smartwatch appears to have been leaked by a retailer in Singapore, revealing several exciting upgrades and new features for the highly anticipated wearable.

The new model seems to feature a refreshed design, including an octagonal stainless steel bezel and an updated strap. The T-Rex 3 is equipped with a larger 1.5-inch AMOLED display boasting a 480 x 480 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 326 PPI. Remarkably, the display is touted to be twice as bright as previous models, reaching up to 2,000 nits.

To power this advanced display, the T-Rex 3 has a larger 700mAh battery, which is a notable upgrade from the 500mAh battery in its predecessors. This new battery allows the smartwatch to operate for up to 21 days with typical use, slightly exceeding the T-Rex Ultra’s battery life.

In terms of functionality, the T-Rex 3 includes an impressive array of 170 sports modes, along with health metrics tracking for heart rate and SpO2 levels. GPS tracking and Bluetooth notifications are also part of the core features. Notably, the new Zepp Flow AI voice assistant and a Night Display mode—which lets users change the screen color to preserve night vision—are some of the standout additions.

However, one feature that seems to be missing compared to the T-Rex Ultra is diving capabilities. According to the listing, the Amazfit T-Rex 3 is priced at S$359 (approximately $275). The official release date for the smartwatch has not yet been confirmed.
