Xiaomi has rolled out an upgraded 2026 S Mini LED TV lineup in China, and it brings several notable improvements compared with the versions recently introduced in Europe. The new Chinese range is already on sale and comes in five screen sizes, giving buyers more choice from a compact living-room setup to a massive home-theater-style display.
The lineup starts with a 55-inch model and climbs all the way to a 100-inch option. That top-end size is a key difference, since the European range tops out at 98 inches. Xiaomi also appears to be using different panels for the China-specific models, suggesting this isn’t just a simple regional rebrand.
China launch prices for the 2026 Xiaomi S Mini LED TV series:
55-inch: CNY 3,099 (around $453)
65-inch: CNY 3,799 (around $555)
75-inch: CNY 4,899 (around $716)
85-inch: CNY 6,799 (around $994)
100-inch: CNY 8,999 (around $1,316)
Those prices stand out even more when you consider that a 98-inch S Mini LED model in the recently launched European lineup is priced far higher, landing in the €2,299 range (around $2,682), with some listings showing €2,199.
On the performance side, Xiaomi is leaning into what shoppers look for in a modern Mini LED TV: strong brightness, tighter backlight control, and gaming-friendly motion. The Chinese S Mini LED TVs are rated for up to 1,920 local dimming zones and up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. Even the entry 55-inch model gets 576 dimming zones, which is a respectable figure for that size and should help improve contrast, reduce blooming, and enhance HDR impact.
Gamers also get a big headline feature: up to a 288Hz refresh rate for smoother motion and a more responsive feel in supported modes. Xiaomi is also adding a low-reflection coating designed to make the picture easier to watch in different lighting conditions, whether you’re dealing with daylight glare or bright room lights.
Audio isn’t treated as an afterthought either. The set includes a 2.1-channel speaker system tuned with Harman AudioEFX, aiming to deliver clearer dialogue and more presence than basic TV speakers—useful for everyday viewing when you don’t want to rely on a separate soundbar.
With bigger sizing options, premium Mini LED specs like high dimming-zone counts and 2,000-nit peak brightness, plus high refresh rate gaming features, Xiaomi’s 2026 S Mini LED TV lineup in China looks positioned as a value-focused challenger in the large-screen TV market—especially at its aggressive local pricing.
