Xiaomi SU7 Set to Electrify the Market Against Porsche and Tesla with Lightning-Fast Acceleration

Xiaomi is poised to make a dramatic entrance into the electric vehicle market at MWC 2024 with their latest creation, the Xiaomi SU7. This futuristic car aims to rival the likes of Porsche and Tesla, boasting an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.8 seconds, setting a new standard for electric vehicle performance.

The SU7 is set to feature cutting-edge CTB (Cell-to-Body) battery technology developed by leading battery producer, CATL. This innovation offers an impressive efficiency value of 77.8%. With a proposed battery capacity of up to 150 kWh, the Xiaomi SU7 anticipates delivering an exceptional theoretical range of approximately 800 kilometers (474 miles) according to the CLTC standard.

Charging efficiency is no less impressive, as the Xiaomi SU7 incorporates 800-volt HyperCharge technology for its V6s and V8s motors. This ultra-fast charging capability means the SU7 can replenish 220 km (136.7 miles) of its range in just 5 minutes. The V6 models will utilize a slightly lower 400-volt charging system, but are still expected to offer quick power restoration.

In crafting the structure of the SU7, Xiaomi has paid meticulous attention to design and functionality. The electric car’s floor assembly, which houses the robust drive battery and the vehicle’s frame, boasts a slender profile of just 12 centimeters (4.72 inches). This slimline structure speaks to the innovative advancements Xiaomi is bringing to the electric vehicle sector.

With its potent combination of impressive electric range, groundbreaking charging technology, and eye-catching acceleration, the Xiaomi SU7 stands as a formidable contender in the race towards electric mobility, ready to challenge established players when it debuts at the MWC 2024.
