Xiaomi enthusiasts have much to anticipate as whispers in the tech community hint at the company gearing up to introduce its first genuine flagship tablet. This eagerly awaited device is expected to hit the shelves later this year, featuring the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
Recently, Xiaomi unveiled the Pad 7 in China and is poised to roll it out globally soon. However, this launch doesn’t encapsulate Xiaomi’s top-tier capabilities. The Pad 6S Pro currently holds the accolade of being Xiaomi’s most sophisticated tablet to date. Yet, there’s mounting anticipation for an even more advanced model that truly embodies the flagship status.
Insider Kartikey Singh has revealed Xiaomi’s plans for a groundbreaking tablet, which will be propelled by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This makes it Xiaomi’s pioneering tablet to incorporate a flagship level chipset. Although the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro carries a “Pro” label, it is equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which, while capable, doesn’t reach the premium heights of the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Details surrounding the imminent release are sparse, but earlier leaks suggest this new tablet might boast an OLED display, an inaugural feature for Xiaomi’s tablet lineup. Additionally, it’s likely to offer a rapid 120 W charging, parallel to the Pad 6S Pro.
While the exact launch date remains under wraps, tech enthusiasts will be keeping their eyes peeled for more juicy tidbits about this potential game-changer in the tablet market.
