Meanwhile, the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 is said to focus more on balancing speed, heat, and battery efficiency.
Both chipsets are rumored to feature the same 2 + 3 + 3 CPU cluster, but that does not mean they will perform identically. The Pro model is expected to run at higher frequencies, which could give it a noticeable advantage in demanding tasks such as gaming, video editing, AI processing, and heavy multitasking.
