Microsoft is preparing to announce the next wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass, but before new games arrive, several existing ones are getting ready to leave the service. As part of the regular Game Pass library rotation, 12 games are scheduled to be removed in mid-July 2026.
For Xbox Game Pass subscribers, this means time is running out to play or finish these titles through the subscription. Once removed, the games will no longer be accessible with an active Game Pass membership unless they are added back in the future. Players who want to keep any of these games permanently may need to purchase them separately.
The latest “Leaving Soon” update in the Xbox Game Pass app confirms the following games are set to exit the catalog in mid-July 2026:
PowerWash Simulator — Console, PC, and cloud
Techtonica — Console, PC, and cloud
Back to the Dawn — Console, PC, and cloud
Dungeons of Hinterberg — Console, PC, and cloud
My Friendly Neighborhood — Console, PC, and cloud
EA Sports FC 24 — Console and cloud
Shadow of the Tomb Raider — Console, PC, and cloud
Stellaris — Console, PC, and cloud
Splitgate: Arena Reloaded
Golf With Your Friends — Console, PC, and cloud
Super Fantasy Kingdom — PC
Whiskerwood — PC
This month’s removal list includes a wide mix of genres, from sports and strategy to adventure, horror, simulation, and multiplayer action. PowerWash Simulator remains one of the most popular relaxing co-op experiences on the service, while Shadow of the Tomb Raider offers a cinematic action-adventure for players who enjoy exploration and puzzle-solving. Strategy fans may want to spend more time with Stellaris before it leaves, and football fans still playing EA Sports FC 24 through Game Pass should also take note.
If you are midway through Dungeons of Hinterberg, Back to the Dawn, My Friendly Neighborhood, or any of the other departing titles, now is the best time to wrap up your progress. Game Pass games can leave the catalog quickly once their removal date arrives, so checking your backlog early can help avoid losing access before finishing a campaign or achievement run.
Microsoft is expected to reveal the next Xbox Game Pass additions soon, bringing more games to console, PC, and cloud users. Until then, subscribers have a limited window to enjoy these 12 outgoing games before they disappear from the Xbox Game Pass library in July 2026.
