Xbox Game Pass Adds 9 More Games in August 2026, Including Vapor World, Relooted, and More
Xbox Game Pass subscribers have another packed update to look forward to as Microsoft has revealed the second wave of games arriving in August 2026. After already announcing 10 titles earlier in the month, the latest Xbox Game Pass lineup brings nine more games to the service across cloud, console, PC, and handheld-supported platforms.
This new batch includes a mix of fresh day-one-style additions, expanded access for Game Pass Premium members, action-heavy releases, adventure games, and indie titles that should give players plenty to explore before the month ends.
Xbox Game Pass August 2026 second wave lineup
Microsoft confirmed that nine games are joining or expanding within Xbox Game Pass during the second half of August and the start of September. Four titles are new additions to the service, while five games are being made available through the Game Pass Premium plan.

A strong month for Xbox Game Pass subscribers
The August 2026 Xbox Game Pass update gives players a broad selection of genres to dive into. Vapor World: Over the Mind leads the new arrivals on August 19, while BlazBlue Entropy Effect X, Relooted, and Starsand Island expand availability across more subscription tiers.
Later in the month, players can check out Aerial_Knight’s DropShot and Blood Dungeon on August 25, followed by Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy on August 27. Young Suns arrives on August 31, while Shelldiver kicks off September’s additions on September 1.
The inclusion of more games for Game Pass Premium members is also notable, giving subscribers on that plan access to a wider range of titles across supported devices.
Games leaving Xbox Game Pass soon
As usual, new arrivals also mean a few departures from the Xbox Game Pass library. Microsoft confirmed that several games will leave the service at the end of August and in early September.
