Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass Price Climbs as New Tiers and Perks Roll Out

Microsoft is reshaping Xbox Game Pass with new tiers and higher prices, pairing the changes with a wave of fresh games across console, PC, and cloud. The lineup now includes Essential (replacing Core), Premium (replacing Standard), and an updated Ultimate plan. The biggest shift is price: Xbox Game Pass Ultimate jumps from $19.99 to $29.99 per month, a $10 increase. PC Game Pass also rises from $11.99 to $16.49 per month, a 40% hike.

Microsoft highlighted it has a comparison of all three plans, noting the new names and pricing changes. Alongside the restructure, a substantial slate of new titles is rolling out across tiers—headlined by big hitters like Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV, Prince of Persia The Lost Crown, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, Frostpunk 2, Age of Mythology: Retold, and multiple Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry entries.
