Wuthering Waves Update 3.4 Release Date Revealed With Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Collaboration
Kuro Games has officially confirmed that Wuthering Waves Version 3.4, titled The Dream Not Dreamed, will launch on June 8, 2026, bringing one of the game’s most anticipated collaborations yet. The update will introduce a major Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover, complete with a new story that continues Lucy Kushinada’s journey after the events of the anime.
The upcoming Wuthering Waves update 3.4 will be available across all current platforms and is set to deliver new characters, events, weapons, enemies, rewards, and a fresh area inspired by Night City. For fans of both Wuthering Waves and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, this version is shaping up to be one of the biggest content drops in the game so far.
At the center of the collaboration is a new permanent Episodic Quest called At Dream’s Edge. The story begins when a strange disturbance appears within the Somnoire, pulling the Rover into a crisis that blurs the line between dreams and reality. During this journey, players will meet Lucy and Rebecca, who arrive from another world and become key figures in the unfolding mystery.
Lucy Kushinada’s return is one of the main highlights of the update. Rather than simply appearing as a crossover character, Lucy will receive an official continuation of her story, giving players a deeper look at what happens after the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime. Rebecca will also join the lineup, adding even more energy to the collaboration.
Both Lucy and Rebecca will be added as new collaboration Resonators in Wuthering Waves Version 3.4. Even better, players will be able to obtain the 5-Star Resonator Rebecca for free by participating in the Instant Flashlight event. This makes the update especially appealing for players looking to expand their roster without relying entirely on pulls.
The update will also introduce Somnoire: Night City, a new area shaped by Lucy’s memories. This dreamlike version of Night City brings a cyberpunk atmosphere into Wuthering Waves, blending neon-lit urban visuals with the game’s existing sci-fi fantasy style. Players can expect a setting that feels familiar to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners fans while still fitting naturally into the world of Wuthering Waves.
New enemies are also joining the fight, including Nightmare: Adam Smasher and several Corpo-themed Nightmare foes. These additions should bring fresh combat challenges, especially for players eager to test their teams against crossover-inspired threats.
Wuthering Waves Version 3.4 will feature several limited-time and collaboration events. These include Nightmare Challenge, Matrix Reform, Gifts of Dreamchasers, and Sweetdream Tuning. The Gifts of Dreamchasers event will run as a 10-day login event, giving players another reason to check in regularly after the update launches.
New collaboration weapons are also on the way, including Spectral Trigger and Skull Thrasher. In addition, players will be able to collect Reminiscence – Nightmare: Adam Smasher as a new Echo, along with the Shadow of Shattered Dreams Sonata Effect.
One of the most recognizable elements from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is also making its way into the game. The song I Really Want to Stay at Your House will be added to the Heart Radio Channel and Archive of Melodies. Players will be able to listen to the track while riding the expedition motorbike, adding a strong emotional touch for fans of the anime.
Ahead of the Wuthering Waves 3.4 release date, Kuro Games is also preparing a series of developer interview videos. These will explore the making of the update, including level design, battle design, performance, promotional video production, and the overall Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover.
The current developer interview schedule is:
May 31 – Level Design interview
June 2 – Battle Design interview
June 3 – Promotional video and performance interview
June 5 – Cyberpunk: Edgerunners x Wuthering Waves collaboration interview
Wuthering Waves is currently available on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android. An Xbox Series X|S version is also planned for release in July.
With a new permanent quest, free 5-Star Resonator Rebecca, Lucy’s official story continuation, Night City-inspired content, new weapons, new enemies, and the addition of I Really Want to Stay at Your House, Wuthering Waves Version 3.4 is set to be a major update for both longtime players and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners fans. The Dream Not Dreamed launches on June 8, 2026.
