Wuthering Waves Version 3.6 Special Broadcast Set for August 7 With Qingxiao, Jingran, and Free Astrite Codes Expected
Kuro Games is preparing to reveal the next major chapter of Wuthering Waves, with the Version 3.6 Preview Special Broadcast officially scheduled for Friday, August 7, 2026, at 19:00 UTC+8. The livestream will air on the official Wuthering Waves YouTube and Twitch channels, giving players their first full look at what comes after the Version 3.5 update.
The upcoming showcase arrives as Version 3.5 enters its final stretch. That update introduced the Mengzhou region, added Yangyang: Xuanling and Suisui, and brought Wuthering Waves to Xbox Series X|S. With Version 3.6 now on the horizon, many players are eager to see how Kuro Games will continue expanding the story, character roster, and gameplay experience.
Two new five-star Resonators are expected to take the spotlight during the broadcast: Qingxiao and Jingran.
Qingxiao is set to arrive as a limited five-star Aero Sword Resonator, while Jingran is expected to wield the Fusion element. The livestream will likely include detailed ability breakdowns, combat demonstrations, animations, and a closer look at how both characters fit into the current Wuthering Waves meta.
For players following the Mengzhou storyline, Version 3.6 is expected to continue the narrative threads introduced in Version 3.5. That means Version 3.6 will likely launch around August 20 or August 21, depending on the final schedule.
