Why This Pocket-Size Flagship Outshines the iPhone 17 and Galaxy S26

The OnePlus 15T is quickly gaining attention for one simple reason: it delivers the kind of battery life people usually expect from much larger phones, all while keeping a compact, easy-to-handle design.

In a real-world battery test run at an adjusted screen brightness of 150 cd/m² (a standardized level that makes results easier to compare), the OnePlus 15T posted standout endurance for a smaller flagship-style smartphone. During the WiFi battery test, it recorded a runtime of more than 34 hours. That’s a massive result for a compact phone—and it reportedly beats the iPhone 17 by more than 14 hours in the same test conditions.

The comparison looks even more dramatic next to the Galaxy S26. Under the same testing approach, the OnePlus 15T lasts almost twice as long, positioning it as one of the strongest battery performers in the compact smartphone category.

For anyone who loves smaller phones but has avoided them due to historically weaker battery life, the OnePlus 15T looks like a clear solution: compact size without the usual endurance compromise. The only downside is availability. Despite its “affordable flagship” appeal, the OnePlus 15T is not officially sold outside China at the moment, which may limit how easily most buyers can get one.
