Vivo X500 Pro May Launch With Dual 16GB RAM Options

Vivo X500 Pro Adds New 16GB RAM Variants With Up to 1TB Storage

Vivo has expanded the lineup of its newly announced X500 Pro in China, giving buyers more high-end options before the phone officially goes on sale. The company has quietly added two new 16GB RAM configurations to the Vivo X500 Pro, making the device more appealing to users who want stronger multitasking performance and larger storage capacity.

The Vivo X500 Pro series was introduced in China on September 21, featuring two models: the Vivo X500 Pro and the Vivo X500 Pro Max. Both smartphones are powered by MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, positioning them as premium devices built for performance, photography, gaming, and heavy everyday use.

At launch, the Vivo X500 Pro was originally listed in three configurations. These included a 12GB RAM model with 256GB of storage, a 12GB RAM model with 512GB of storage, and a 12GB RAM version with 1TB of storage. However, retail listings for pre-orders now show that Vivo has added two more powerful versions with 16GB of RAM.

The newly added Vivo X500 Pro configurations are:

16GB RAM + 512GB storage: CNY 7,999, which is around $1,195 or €1,044

16GB RAM + 1TB storage: CNY 8,999, which is around $1,344 or €1,175

These new variants bring the standard Vivo X500 Pro closer to the X500 Pro Max in terms of memory and storage options. For users who want a premium phone with more RAM but do not necessarily need the Max model, the new 16GB versions could be a strong choice.

The Vivo X500 Pro Max is also available with 16GB of RAM. Its 16GB + 512GB model is priced at CNY 8,499, approximately $1,269 or €1,109, while the 16GB + 1TB version costs CNY 9,499, around $1,418 or €1,240.

It is worth noting that these prices are for the smartphones only. Vivo is also offering optional accessories, including a telephoto extender kit and a secondary display. Choosing these extras will increase the total purchase price.

Pre-orders for both Vivo X500 Pro models are already open in China, with the official release scheduled for October 15. Vivo has also confirmed that the X500 series will launch internationally, although the company has not yet revealed which RAM and storage configurations will be available in global markets.

With the addition of 16GB RAM options, the Vivo X500 Pro becomes an even more competitive flagship smartphone. Its combination of high-end processing power, large storage choices, and expandable accessory support could make it one of Vivo’s most interesting premium releases of the year.
