Vivo V80 Lite with massive 10,000mAh battery set to launch in Malaysia
Vivo is preparing to introduce the Vivo V80 Lite in Malaysia, and the biggest talking point is impossible to miss: a huge 10,000mAh battery. The company has officially confirmed that the smartphone will launch in the country on September 3 at 7 PM local time, with reservations already open ahead of its first sale on September 12.
This Malaysian version of the Vivo V80 Lite is different from the Vivo V80 Lite 5G that recently appeared in Pakistan. While that model comes with a 7,050mAh battery and a Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor, the Malaysia-bound Vivo V80 Lite is being promoted as a battery-focused smartphone built for users who want longer screen time, fewer charging breaks, and better endurance throughout the day.
Vivo is calling the 10,000mAh unit its “largest and strongest battery” yet, making the V80 Lite one of the most interesting smartphones for heavy users, travelers, mobile gamers, and anyone who depends on their phone for long hours. The device is also expected to support reverse charging, meaning it could be used to power up other gadgets such as earbuds, smartwatches, or even another phone when needed.
Battery life is not the only feature Vivo is highlighting. The Vivo V80 Lite is also said to include a large vapor chamber cooling system, which should help manage heat during gaming, video streaming, multitasking, and extended use. This could make the phone more reliable for users who push their devices harder than average.
On the front, the smartphone is expected to feature a large 6.83-inch OLED display with a “1.5K” resolution. That combination suggests a sharp and vibrant viewing experience, making the device suitable for watching videos, browsing social media, reading, and gaming. A big OLED panel paired with a huge battery could make the Vivo V80 Lite especially appealing to entertainment-focused users.
The rear camera module confirms that the phone will come with a 50MP camera. Vivo has not yet shared full camera details, so it remains unclear what additional sensors or photography features will be included. However, the 50MP branding indicates that the company is positioning the device as more than just a battery powerhouse.
In terms of design, the Vivo V80 Lite will be available in three color options: black, pink, and green. This gives buyers a mix of classic and more colorful choices, depending on their style preference.
For now, Vivo has not revealed the complete specifications, including the chipset, RAM, storage options, charging speed, software version, or full camera setup. More details are expected to be announced during the official Malaysia launch event on September 3.
With its enormous 10,000mAh battery, reverse charging support, OLED display, vapor chamber cooling, and 50MP camera, the Vivo V80 Lite is shaping up to be a strong option for users who prioritize battery life above all else. If Vivo prices it competitively, it could become one of the most attention-grabbing battery smartphones in the Malaysian market this year.
