Urban Arrow Breeze Debuts in North America as a Premium Longtail Electric Cargo Bike
Urban Arrow has introduced the Breeze in North America, marking the Dutch company’s first longtail electric cargo bike for the region. Known for its high-end cargo e-bikes, Urban Arrow is expanding its lineup with a more versatile model designed for families, daily commuting, grocery runs, and urban transportation.
The Urban Arrow Breeze first appeared in Europe last year, and its North American launch brings a fresh option to riders looking for a practical electric cargo bike with strong performance and premium components. Unlike front-loader cargo bikes, the Breeze uses a longtail design, placing extra cargo or passengers behind the rider. This setup makes it easier to handle for those who want the carrying capacity of a cargo bike without the larger footprint of a box-style model.
Powering the Breeze is a Bosch Cargo Line motor, built specifically for heavier e-bikes and cargo-hauling duties. The motor delivers 85 Nm of torque, giving riders the support needed for carrying children, groceries, gear, or other daily essentials. The bike offers pedal assistance up to 25 km/h, or 15.5 mph, making it suitable for city riding and everyday errands.
Urban Arrow gives riders several battery options for the Breeze. Buyers can choose from Bosch Powerpack batteries with 400 Wh, 545 Wh, or 800 Wh capacities. With the largest 800 Wh battery, the Breeze can offer up to 100 km, or about 62 miles, of riding range. This flexibility allows riders to select a battery setup based on their commuting distance, cargo needs, and budget.
The Breeze is built around an aluminum frame and weighs approximately 51 kg, or 112 lbs. Despite its sturdy construction, it is designed to carry a total payload of up to 200 kg, or 440 lbs. That capacity includes the rider, passengers, and cargo, making it capable of transporting an adult rider plus up to two children or a mix of cargo and passenger loads.
For the North American market, the Urban Arrow Breeze comes equipped with 24-inch wheels, Tektro Volans brakes, and Suntour Mobi34 CGO Boost front suspension. These components are intended to improve stability, braking confidence, and comfort when riding with heavier loads. The European version uses larger 26-inch Schwalbe Big Ben Plus tires, but the U.S. model is configured specifically for its market.
Additional features include a Bosch Purion display, a Trelock Lighthammer headlight, mudguards, and a kickstand. These details make the Breeze more practical for daily use, especially for riders who plan to use it as a car alternative in urban or suburban areas.
The Urban Arrow Breeze is available in green and black color options. Pricing starts at $6,999 in North America, positioning it as a premium electric cargo bike for families and riders who need a reliable, high-capacity transportation solution.
With its longtail layout, Bosch-powered drivetrain, strong payload rating, and multiple battery choices, the Urban Arrow Breeze enters the North American e-bike market as a compelling option for anyone looking to replace short car trips with a capable electric cargo bike.
