Segway Muxi Pro Debuts as a Powerful Long-Range Cargo E-Bike for City and Off-Road Use
Segway has introduced the Muxi Pro, a new cargo electric bike designed for riders who need serious power, long range, and practical carrying capacity. Built for commuting, errands, family transport, and light adventure riding, the Muxi Pro combines a strong motor, automatic shifting, fat tires, and safety-focused riding technology in a compact cargo e-bike package.
At the heart of the Segway Muxi Pro is a 750W motor paired with a 716 Wh battery. This setup gives the e-bike a maximum riding range of up to 73 miles, or around 117 km, depending on riding conditions, terrain, load, and assist level. For daily commuters and riders who frequently carry cargo, that range makes the Muxi Pro a practical option for longer trips without constant recharging.
Performance is another key highlight. The motor delivers up to 80 Nm of peak torque, giving the bike enough strength to handle hills, heavier riders, and loaded cargo trips. The Muxi Pro supports riders weighing up to 265 lbs, or 120 kg, while its total maximum payload capacity reaches 418 lbs, or 190 kg. That makes it well suited for hauling groceries, gear, child seats, bags, or other everyday essentials.
The Muxi Pro also features a 9-speed auto-shifting drivetrain, which is designed to make riding easier and smoother. Instead of manually changing gears, riders can rely on the system to adjust automatically based on speed, cadence, and terrain. This can be especially useful in stop-and-go city traffic, on hills, or when carrying heavier loads.
With a top speed of 28 mph, or 45 kph, the Segway Muxi Pro fits into the fast commuter e-bike category. Its speed and cargo capability make it a strong alternative to a second car for urban riders, especially for short to medium-distance travel. Whether navigating city streets, bike lanes, or rougher unpaved paths, the bike is built to remain stable and capable.
Safety and control are major parts of the design. The Muxi Pro comes equipped with dual 180 mm hydraulic disc brakes, providing reliable stopping power even when the bike is carrying extra weight. It also includes hill descent control, hill start assist, and traction control, helping riders maintain stability on slopes, wet pavement, loose surfaces, and uneven roads.
Comfort has also been considered. The bike rides on wide 20-inch by 3-inch fat tires, which improve grip and help absorb bumps from rough pavement, gravel, and dirt paths. A 70 mm front suspension adds another layer of cushioning, making the ride more comfortable over potholes, curbs, and uneven ground.
Segway has also included practical features for everyday use, such as fenders that help protect riders from mud, water, and road debris. This makes the Muxi Pro more useful in changing weather conditions and on messy roads, where cargo e-bikes are often expected to perform.
Overall, the Segway Muxi Pro stands out as a capable long-range electric cargo bike with strong performance, high payload capacity, and rider-friendly technology. With its 750W motor, 73-mile range, automatic 9-speed drivetrain, fat tires, hydraulic brakes, and advanced control features, it is aimed at riders who want a dependable e-bike for commuting, cargo hauling, and mixed-terrain riding.
