The upcoming Hero 13 Black is expected to feature the same 27 MP camera as the previous model. It is rumored to support a maximum resolution of 5.3K at 60 FPS, with the ability to achieve 120 FPS at 4K resolution. The new model will reportedly include the HyperSmooth 6.0 stabilization technology and HDR capabilities carried over from the Hero 12 Black.
One significant upgrade is the inclusion of a 1,900 mAh battery, which is said to provide up to 1.5 hours of recording time at 4K/30 or 5.3K/30 resolutions, and up to 3 hours at 1080p resolution. Additionally, the Hero 13 Black will come with new Macro and Ultra Wide lenses, offering 4x zoom and 177° shots, respectively. The Ultra Wide lens is expected to have auto-adjustment capabilities. Improved heat dissipation is another enhancement mentioned for this model. The primary distinctions from its predecessor seem to be the new accessories and these improved features.
