Trek has expanded its electric bike lineup in Europe with the launch of the 2027 Allant+ FS, a full-suspension SUV-style e-bike built for riders who want comfort, range, and everyday practicality in one premium package. Following the recent arrival of the Dutch-inspired District+ e-bike, this new model takes a more rugged approach, combining long-distance capability with a powerful Bosch drive system and commuter-friendly equipment.
The 2027 Trek Allant+ FS is aimed at cyclists who need more than a basic city e-bike. With full suspension, a sturdy alloy frame, a large battery, and integrated accessories, it is designed for urban commuting, weekend rides, mixed-surface routes, and loaded daily use. Trek is offering the model in two versions: the Allant+ FS R11 Auto and the Allant+ FS R10.
The biggest difference between the two builds is the drivetrain. The R11 Auto features Shimano’s 11-speed Cues drivetrain with automatic shifting, giving riders a smoother and more convenient experience, especially in stop-and-go city traffic or on changing terrain. The R10 comes with a Shimano 10-speed Cues drivetrain with manual shifting, offering a more traditional riding feel at a lower price.
Power comes from Bosch’s Performance Line CX mid-drive motor, a well-known system in the premium e-bike segment. It delivers a 250 W nominal output and can reach up to 750 W at peak power, giving the Allant+ FS enough strength for hills, heavier loads, and longer rides. As required for European e-bikes, assistance is limited to a top speed of 25 km/h, or around 15.3 mph.
One of the standout features of the Trek 2027 Allant+ FS is its large Bosch PowerTube 800 Wh battery. According to Trek, the e-bike can travel up to 180 km, or 112 miles, on a single charge. Actual range will depend on riding mode, terrain, rider weight, weather, and cargo, but the large battery makes this model especially appealing for commuters and touring riders who want fewer charging stops.
The full-suspension setup is another key highlight. The Allant+ FS R11 Auto is equipped with a Fox 36 AWL fork offering 140 mm of travel, while the R10 uses a SunTour XCR 36 fork, also with 140 mm of travel. This suspension travel gives the bike extra comfort over rough roads, cobblestones, gravel paths, and uneven city surfaces, helping it stand out from many rigid commuter e-bikes.
Trek has built the Allant+ FS around a hydroformed alloy frame engineered for strength and utility. The bike can handle a total payload of up to 136 kg, or 300 lbs, making it suitable for riders carrying work gear, groceries, bags, or touring equipment. It also includes practical mounting points, including inner frame mounts for bags or locks and headtube mounts for additional accessories.
The equipment list reinforces the Allant+ FS as a premium SUV-style electric bike. Standard features include fenders, a kickstand, integrated lighting, and a MIK-compatible alloy rear rack that can carry up to 27 kg, or about 59.5 lbs. The lighting system includes a high beam rated at up to 500 lumens, improving visibility for early-morning commutes, evening rides, and low-light conditions.
Trek is offering the 2027 Allant+ FS in four frame sizes: S, M, L, and XL. Both models come in a single olive-brown metallic color, giving the e-bike a rugged yet understated appearance.
Pricing starts at €4,999 for the Trek Allant+ FS R10, while the higher-spec Allant+ FS R11 Auto is priced at €5,999. With its long-range 800 Wh battery, Bosch Performance Line CX motor, full-suspension design, and fully equipped commuter setup, the 2027 Trek Allant+ FS is positioned as a strong option for riders looking for a versatile electric bike that can handle daily transportation and longer adventures with ease.
