VZMore iX9 Max and iX9 Ultra Mini PCs Bring High-End Intel Power to IFA 2026
VZMore is preparing to enter the premium mini PC market with a new lineup aimed at users who want desktop-class performance in a compact form factor. The company is expected to showcase its latest systems at IFA 2026, including two Intel-powered models: the VZMore iX9 Max and the VZMore iX9 Ultra.
Both mini PCs are designed for demanding workloads, content creation, multitasking, and moderate GPU-heavy tasks, but they take very different approaches when it comes to processor choice.
The VZMore iX9 Ultra is the more forward-looking model. It is set to feature Intel’s Core Ultra X9 378H processor, part of the newer Panther Lake generation. This chip includes a 16-core CPU and an Arc B390 integrated GPU, giving the mini PC strong potential for productivity, creative applications, and everyday graphics tasks without requiring a dedicated graphics card.
Performance expectations for the iX9 Ultra are promising. Its CPU should be able to compete closely with high-end AMD-based mini PC platforms, including systems using the Ryzen AI Max+ 388 APU. The integrated Arc B390 GPU is also expected to deliver solid graphics performance, although it may still trail AMD’s Radeon 8060S in some synthetic graphics benchmarks.
The VZMore iX9 Max, on the other hand, takes a more unusual route. Instead of using Intel’s newest Panther Lake platform, this model is expected to ship with the Core Ultra 9 185H, a Meteor Lake processor that has been around for several years. The chip still offers a capable 16-core, 22-thread configuration, but it may not match the performance efficiency or raw benchmark results of newer AMD and Intel chips.
That does not mean the iX9 Max should be dismissed. For users who need a compact computer for productivity, office work, media editing, development tasks, multitasking, and general daily use, the Core Ultra 9 185H can still provide plenty of power. However, buyers looking for the strongest long-term performance may find the iX9 Ultra more appealing due to its newer architecture and stronger integrated graphics.
VZMore appears to be giving its new mini PCs a premium design language similar to compact workstation-style desktops. The iX9 series is expected to use the same general design approach as the company’s AMD-based AX9 models, with a clean, studio-inspired chassis and an advanced cooling layout.
Cooling could be one of the biggest highlights of the lineup. VZMore says the systems will use a dual-phase vapor chamber cooling solution paired with a bottom-mounted intake design. This setup should help maintain stable performance in a small enclosure, especially during long workloads such as video rendering, large file processing, code compilation, or AI-assisted productivity tasks.
The full I/O configuration has not been confirmed yet. Details such as USB4 support, Thunderbolt connectivity, HDMI or DisplayPort options, Ethernet speed, memory configuration, storage expansion, and wireless standards are expected to be revealed during the official IFA presentation.
The VZMore iX9 Max and iX9 Ultra will be part of a broader four-model mini PC lineup. Two systems will use Intel hardware, while the other two will be based on AMD platforms. This gives VZMore a wider reach, targeting users who prefer either Intel’s Core Ultra ecosystem or AMD’s Ryzen AI performance.
The key difference between the two Intel models is clear. The iX9 Max looks like a powerful but more conservative option built around the older Core Ultra 9 185H, while the iX9 Ultra is positioned as the flagship Intel model with a newer Core Ultra X9 378H chip and stronger future-facing performance.
For mini PC buyers, this could become an interesting launch. The market for compact high-performance desktops has grown quickly, with more users seeking small systems that can replace traditional towers without sacrificing too much power. If VZMore can combine strong cooling, competitive pricing, premium build quality, and a useful port selection, the iX9 series could stand out in an increasingly crowded segment.
More details, including pricing, availability, memory options, storage configurations, and final specifications, are expected when VZMore officially presents the AX9 and iX9 mini PC family at IFA 2026. A retail launch will likely follow after the event.
