Thunderobot is gearing up to make a major splash in the premium gaming laptop space with its upcoming Mix G2, and the biggest headline is its top-end graphics option: the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090.
For buyers chasing maximum performance, the Mix G2 can be configured with the GeForce RTX 5090, a GPU that comes in roughly 17% faster than the GeForce RTX 5080 in benchmark comparisons. That extra headroom is aimed squarely at gamers and creators who want higher frame rates, smoother high-resolution gameplay, and more breathing room for demanding workloads.
That performance jump doesn’t come cheap. In China, the RTX 5090-equipped Thunderobot Mix G2 is listed at CNY 24,999 (around $3,546). The price is driven not only by the flagship GPU, but also by the rest of the high-end hardware package, including Intel’s Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and a hefty 64GB of RAM. In other words, this is positioned as a no-compromise configuration for people who want a desktop-class experience in a portable form factor.
There’s more good news for shoppers outside China: Thunderobot has confirmed the Mix G2 will be available globally with the GeForce RTX 5090 as well. What’s still unclear is whether more affordable versions will also get a worldwide release. Potential lower-tier configurations could include the Core Ultra 7 255HX, along with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti or GeForce RTX 5080 options, but Thunderobot hasn’t yet confirmed which of those models will reach international markets.
Anyone interested won’t have to wait long for official global details. Thunderobot is set to fully unveil the Mix G2 for the worldwide audience on January 6 at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, where final specifications, regional pricing, and launch timing should become clearer.
