PlayStation fans who love retro design now have a new collector’s item to chase: a limited-edition PlayStation 30th Anniversary wristwatch from Anicorn that blends classic console nostalgia with modern watchmaking details.
At the heart of the watch is a Miyota 9039 mechanical movement. Because it’s a manual-wind setup, owners will need to wind it using the crown at least every 42 hours to keep it running. That hands-on ritual feels especially fitting for a piece inspired by the early days of gaming, when everything felt more tactile and personal.
The watch leans hard into the throwback theme with a gray FKM rubber strap that matches the case styling and features printed PlayStation symbols. For everyday wear, it’s built with practical durability too: sapphire crystal protects the dial from scratches, and the case is rated to 5 ATM water resistance, helping it handle typical daily splashes and light exposure to water.
One of the most interesting additions isn’t on the wrist at all. Anicorn includes a “Memory Card” accessory—an NFC chip housed in a plastic shell designed to closely resemble the original PlayStation memory card. Tap it against a smartphone, and it opens a digital “memory board” where users can store memories, adding a modern interactive twist to a classic gaming idea.
Pricing and availability are aimed squarely at collectors. The Anicorn PlayStation 30th Anniversary Limited Edition watch is capped at just 300 units worldwide. Orders open Friday, December 19 through the manufacturer’s online shop, with the price set at $780. Anicorn says shipping is free and that customs duties are included, though buyers should expect that import VAT may still apply depending on location. Delivery is expected to begin in June 2026.
With its mechanical movement, retro-inspired details, and memory-card NFC feature, this release is positioned less as a mainstream timepiece and more as a rare PlayStation anniversary collectible for dedicated fans.
