Watch collectors and PlayStation fans have a new 30th anniversary collectible to consider. Anicorn has officially launched the PlayStation Play Symbol Watch, a more affordable companion piece to its recently released PlayStation Limited Edition Mechanical Watch.
The mechanical model has already sold out, which isn’t too surprising considering it was capped at just 600 pieces. That sellout leaves the Play Symbol Watch as the main option still available for anyone who wants a PlayStation-themed timepiece without spending luxury-watch money.
Priced at $250, the PlayStation Play Symbol Watch comes in two styles designed to match different aesthetics: Dark Mode and Light Mode. The Dark Mode edition features a black case and dial, with PlayStation’s recognizable action button symbols prominently displayed. The Light Mode edition switches to a silver case with a white dial, using light gray versions of the same iconic PlayStation symbols. Both versions include a PlayStation logo on the crown, plus PlayStation and Anicorn branding on the caseback.
In terms of build and specs, the watch uses a 316L stainless steel case measuring 39mm across and 10mm thick. It’s paired with 18mm genuine leather quick-release straps and a stainless steel buckle, making strap swaps simple if you want to change the look. Inside is a Japanese Miyota 2035 quartz movement. One of the standout design elements is the oil injection display featuring floating PlayStation icons, giving the watch a playful, animated feel that leans into the brand’s gaming heritage rather than traditional watch styling.
Anicorn rates the watch at 5 ATM water resistance, which generally covers everyday exposure like rain, splashes, and handwashing.
If you’re planning to buy one, there are a few important purchase details to know up front. Anicorn states that orders cannot be cancelled, and it will not provide refunds. The company also notes that shipping is expected to begin in June 2026, so this is a pre-order-style purchase where you’ll need to be comfortable waiting before the watch arrives. Free worldwide shipping is included.
For PlayStation 30th anniversary memorabilia hunters, the Play Symbol Watch positions itself as a collectible that’s easier to access than the sold-out mechanical edition, while still offering official PlayStation-inspired design, recognizable symbols, and a distinct display that stands out from typical fashion watches.
