Tesla enthusiasts and future Model Y owners have a reason to celebrate as the highly-anticipated Juniper refresh of the Model Y has officially begun its journey to U.S. garages. In early March, as promised, Tesla started handing over the pre-ordered Model Y Juniper vehicles to delighted customers across the country. The excitement doesn’t stop there; a special delivery event is set for March 8, reminiscent of the Cybertruck launch, but this time it’s an exclusive gathering for selected influencers and automotive media.
On various forums, proud new owners are sharing their experiences, complete with VIN numbers and photos of their shiny new vehicles. One such enthusiast shared the story of a preorder made on January 23 for a 2026 Model Y Launch Series. After navigating through a series of delivery window updates, they finally drove their car home on March 2 from the Tesla store in Knoxville, Tennessee. Pictures reveal the sleek Model Y Juniper parked alongside their 2024 Model 3 Performance, showcasing the latest in Tesla innovation in one garage.
Currently, the Launch Series edition of the Model Y Juniper is the only variant available in the U.S. This special edition comes with exclusive badging and includes the Full Self-Driving feature, all wrapped up in a base price of $60,000 before tax credits.
Tesla’s expansion doesn’t end with the U.S., as deliveries for the 2026 Model Y are set to begin this week in Europe. To mark this milestone, Tesla will host a launch event at Giga Berlin on March 7, just a day before the grand celebrations at Fremont and Texas.
The excitement is palpable as Tesla continues to roll out groundbreaking vehicles, reshaping the automotive landscape with each release. As more drivers get behind the wheel of the Model Y Juniper, the fusion of technology and mobility reaches new heights.
