Teclast’s Budget Intel Mini PC Goes Global With External GPU Support

Teclast N30 Pro Mini PC Launches Globally With Intel Wildcat Lake, USB4, and eGPU Support

Teclast has expanded beyond its familiar affordable tablet lineup with the global launch of the N30 Pro, a compact Intel-powered mini PC aimed at users who want a budget-friendly desktop for everyday work, media, and light home server tasks.

The Teclast N30 Pro is built around Intel’s Core 3 304 processor, an entry-level chip from the Wildcat Lake family. While it is not designed for heavy gaming or demanding creative workloads, it should be a capable option for web browsing, office apps, video streaming, remote work, and general productivity.

Design-wise, the N30 Pro keeps things simple with a clean black chassis and a compact footprint that should fit easily on a desk, behind a monitor, or in a small home office setup. Its hardware and port arrangement are similar to a few other compact Chinese mini PCs, including models such as the Morefine M9 Pro and Ninkear Mbox 18, but Teclast gives it a more minimalist look.

One of the most interesting features of the Teclast N30 Pro is its USB4 port. This Type-C connection supports external GPU setups, making the mini PC more flexible for users who may want to add extra graphics power later. The same port also supports 100W power delivery input and DisplayPort 1.4 video output, with support for up to 4K at 60Hz.

The built-in graphics come from a 1-core Xe3 integrated GPU. It is not intended for GPU-heavy tasks, modern AAA gaming, or professional rendering, but it should be enough for media playback, light visual workloads, and standard desktop use.

Connectivity is another strong point for the N30 Pro. The mini PC includes three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two HDMI ports, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, one 2.5GbE Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. With dual HDMI and USB4 display support, the system should work well for multi-monitor setups.

Wireless connectivity includes WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, giving users modern wireless performance for networking, peripherals, headphones, and accessories. The inclusion of Wake-on-LAN also makes the N30 Pro a practical choice for users interested in turning it into a lightweight home server or basic NAS-style setup. The 2.5GbE port is especially useful for faster local network transfers.

Teclast is currently offering the N30 Pro in a single configuration. It comes with 12GB of LPDDR5 memory and a 512GB SSD, which should be enough for everyday productivity, browsing, streaming, and basic file storage. The mini PC is listed at around $399 on AliExpress, positioning it as an affordable compact desktop with a surprisingly versatile feature set.

For users looking for a small Intel mini PC with USB4, eGPU support, 2.5GbE networking, and solid everyday performance, the Teclast N30 Pro could be a compelling budget option. It may not be a gaming powerhouse out of the box, but its compact design, modern ports, and upgrade potential make it an interesting choice for home offices, media centers, and lightweight server projects.
