Special Edition: Casio Unveils Exclusive Chengdu Panda Watch

A new timepiece has been unveiled by Casio, celebrating the iconic panda and the city of Chengdu. Introducing the Chengdu Limited Edition Panda Peace and Love watch, this is the brand’s second homage to the panda’s homeland, which is home to the famous Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding established in the 1980s.

Designed in partnership with Chengdu-based NSC Crew, the watch is crafted in the GA-2100 series style. It features a striking black and dark gray resin case and is adorned with a unique Panda Graffiti strap. The watch is presented in a special edition box shaped like a panda, making it a true collector’s item. Inside, fans will also find exclusive stickers to complement their collection.

Key features of this watch include 200-meter water resistance, a robust carbon core guard structure, and an LED backlight. It supports world time, covering 48 cities, and includes functionalities like a 1/100 second stopwatch, a countdown timer, and five daily alarms.

In China, Casio will release this limited edition watch via a lottery system. Potential buyers can enter from July 4th, with winners announced on July 11th. While the exact number of pieces remains a mystery, it’s clear that only a select few will own this timepiece. Unfortunately, for those outside China, it seems unlikely that the watch will be released in other regions.
