Seiko has quietly started selling its newest compact automatic watches in Singapore, and the early listings suggest the first batch may not stick around for long. If you’ve been waiting for a smaller, everyday mechanical watch that doesn’t feel oversized on the wrist, these new 32mm Seiko automatics are now live with confirmed pricing and purchase options.
The release includes three references: SRE021K1, SRE023K1, and SRE024K1. All three are built on Seiko’s recently introduced 32mm automatic platform, bringing classic Seiko styling into a more compact, easy-wearing size that stands out in a market where 38mm to 41mm has become the norm.
Pricing in Singapore is already listed across retailers. The SRE021K1 with a dark navy dial and the SRE023K1 with a champagne dial both come in at SG$517.80 (about $399). The SRE024K1, which adds a two-tone look, is slightly higher at SG$545.00 (around $420).
Inside, each model runs Seiko’s 2R06 automatic movement. Owners get a 40-hour power reserve, manual winding capability, and a stop-seconds (hacking) function for more precise time setting. The movement is visible through a see-through caseback, a nice touch for anyone who enjoys watching the mechanics at work.
Where these watches really aim to win people over is the sizing and wearability. The stainless-steel case measures 32mm across, 11.4mm thick, and 38.7mm from lug to lug, with a 15mm lug width. That makes them among the smallest modern Seiko automatic watches currently available, and a strong option for smaller wrists, vintage-watch fans, or anyone bored of bulky everyday sports watches.
Despite the compact profile, Seiko didn’t treat these like fragile dress pieces. They’re rated for 100 meters of water resistance, use Hardlex crystal, and come with a three-fold push-button clasp for secure daily wear. LumiBrite is applied to the hands and hour markers for visibility in low light, and the dial includes day-date windows—an unmistakably Seiko feature that keeps them practical for daily use.
The differences across the lineup are mostly about color and finish. The SRE021K1 pairs a deep navy dial with gold accents for a slightly richer, dressier contrast. The SRE023K1 keeps things understated with a soft champagne tone that leans classic and versatile. The SRE024K1 takes the boldest approach, adding gold highlights across the bezel and bracelet for a two-tone look that stands out without straying too far from traditional Seiko design language.
Weight is another plus here. At roughly 90 grams, these watches are positioned as lightweight, comfortable mechanicals—ideal if you want an automatic watch that disappears on the wrist rather than dominating it.
Retail listings currently show the models as available to purchase, but stock notices hint that quantities may be limited in this first wave. For buyers in Singapore (or anyone sourcing them through Singapore-based retail channels), the SRE021K1, SRE023K1, and SRE024K1 are now officially live and ready to order.
