Samsung SmartTag 3 Rumored to Launch With Galaxy S26 FE, Bringing Hope for Key Upgrades
Samsung may be preparing to refresh its Bluetooth tracker lineup with a new SmartTag 3, according to a recent leak. If the rumor proves accurate, the next-generation item tracker could arrive alongside the Galaxy S26 FE, marking roughly three years since the debut of the SmartTag 2.
The SmartTag 2 has remained one of Samsung’s most useful accessories for Galaxy users. Designed to help locate everyday items such as keys, bags, wallets, luggage, and even pets, the tracker works through Samsung’s SmartThings Find network. When attached to an item, it allows users to track its location from a compatible Galaxy smartphone, making it a convenient option for those already invested in the Samsung ecosystem.
One of the biggest strengths of the SmartTag 2 is its battery life. The device can typically last around 500 to 700 days on a replaceable CR2032 coin-cell battery, which means users do not need to recharge it frequently or replace the battery often.
