The Airseekers Tron robotic lawn mower has officially hit the market in Europe, capturing attention since its initial Kickstarter launch in April 2024, where it secured 1,389 backers. This innovative smart mower also made waves at IFA 2024 and has been available for pre-order in the United States for $2,099.
Now available on Amazon for customers in the Netherlands and Belgium, the Tron mower is priced at €2,099, with delivery expected within six to ten days. In Spain, France, and Germany, third-party sellers like MaiZG and Drakaris Trading offer the mower with prices ranging from €1,999 to €2,499.
Backers from the Kickstarter campaign have voiced their disappointment on social media, with many yet to receive their mowers. Although shipping was promised to start in July 2024, only a select group of beta testers received the initial shipment at the end of that year. As of May 2025, just 50 units have been delivered to Europe, with plans for a larger batch of 400 units in the next delivery.
The Airseekers Tron stands out with its cutting-edge features. Equipped with 360° AI vision through six cameras, it navigates lawns effortlessly, eliminating the need for a boundary wire. Designed as a ‘mulching mower,’ it enhances lawn health by leaving grass clippings in place. The mower effectively covers up to 1.5 acres, handles slopes of up to 65%, and skillfully dodges obstacles. Users can also control it remotely via an app, which includes options for configuring unique lawn art.
The timeline for remaining Kickstarter backers to receive their mowers remains uncertain, keeping anticipation high for this state-of-the-art gardening solution.
