Anthbot M5 Pro and M9 Pro Bring HoloSense Navigation to Robotic Lawn Mowers
Anthbot has introduced two new robotic lawn mowers, the M5 Pro and M9 Pro, equipped with its latest HoloSense navigation system. Designed for homeowners who want a smarter and more reliable way to maintain their lawns, the new models combine LiDAR, RTK/NetRTK positioning, and AI vision to deliver highly accurate navigation across different garden layouts.
The big highlight is HoloSense, a three-part navigation system that aims to improve how robotic lawn mowers understand and move through outdoor spaces. Anthbot says the technology can achieve positioning accuracy of up to 1 cm, which could make a major difference for users who want clean mowing lines, fewer missed patches, and better performance around obstacles.
Instead of relying on a single navigation method, the M5 Pro and M9 Pro continuously gather and compare data from three sources. The 360-degree LiDAR scans the mower’s surroundings and detects objects, RTK/NetRTK provides precise positioning data, and AI vision helps the mower recognize visual details in the garden. By cross-checking this information in real time, the mower is designed to stay accurate even when conditions become challenging.
This approach could be especially useful for gardens with trees, narrow passages, flower beds, patio furniture, or uneven lawn shapes. Traditional robotic mowers can sometimes struggle when GPS signals are blocked or when the layout is more complex. By combining LiDAR, satellite-based positioning, and camera-based intelligence, Anthbot is aiming to make its new Pro models more dependable in both open lawns and complicated outdoor spaces.
While the company has not yet shared the full technical specifications for the M5 Pro and M9 Pro, the new models are expected to be closely related to the existing Anthbot M5 and Anthbot M9. Based on that, the M5 Pro will likely target smaller to medium-sized lawns of around 500 square meters, while the M9 Pro is expected to handle larger areas of up to about 1,000 square meters.
The standard Anthbot M5 is already available in a version with LiDAR, while the Anthbot M9 was shown earlier this year as a more capable model for larger lawns. With the Pro versions, Anthbot appears to be pushing its robotic mower lineup further by adding a more advanced navigation package that could reduce setup issues and improve mowing consistency.
For many homeowners, one of the biggest advantages of modern robotic lawn mowers is convenience. A mower that can navigate accurately without frequent intervention saves time and helps keep the garden looking neat with minimal effort. The addition of HoloSense could make the M5 Pro and M9 Pro attractive options for users who want a wire-free robotic mower with strong obstacle detection and precise lawn coverage.
Pricing and availability have not been fully confirmed. The Anthbot M9 Pro has appeared with a listed price of €1,699, though this is not expected to be the final retail price and may be adjusted before launch. The official release date for both the M5 Pro and M9 Pro has also not yet been announced.
With the launch of HoloSense, Anthbot is positioning its new robotic lawn mowers as premium smart garden devices built for precision, reliability, and easier lawn care. If the final performance matches the company’s claims, the M5 Pro and M9 Pro could become strong choices for homeowners searching for an advanced robotic mower with LiDAR, RTK positioning, and AI-powered navigation.
