reMarkable Paper Pure Gets a Premium Leather Folio in Forest Brown
reMarkable has expanded its accessory lineup for the Paper Pure E Ink tablet with a new premium leather sleeve folio. Designed for users who want a more refined way to protect their device, the latest folio brings a genuine leather finish to the minimalist writing tablet experience.
The reMarkable Paper Pure launched a few months ago as the successor to the reMarkable 2, offering a distraction-free digital paper experience for note-taking, reading, sketching, and productivity. At launch, the tablet was accompanied by several accessories, including sleeve folios made from polycarbonate and microfiber. Now, the company is adding a more luxurious option for users who prefer a classic leather design.
The new leather sleeve folio is available in a color called Forest Brown. It features a genuine leather exterior paired with a blue microfiber lining on the inside to help protect the Paper Pure from scratches while it is stored. The folio also includes built-in magnets that allow the tablet to wake when removed and lock when inserted, making it both stylish and practical for everyday use.
At the moment, Forest Brown is the only color option available for the leather folio. However, given the popularity of darker accessory finishes, a black version could be a welcome addition in the future if reMarkable decides to expand the lineup.
The premium leather sleeve folio is priced at $129, making it significantly more expensive than the polycarbonate sleeve folio, which costs $69. The polycarbonate version is available in Mist Green, Desert Pink, and Ocean Blue, giving buyers more color choices at a lower price.
For those buying the tablet and accessories together, reMarkable is also offering a bundle that includes the Paper Pure, the new leather sleeve folio, and the Marker Plus for $549. A more affordable bundle with the polycarbonate sleeve folio and Marker Plus costs $499, while the base package with the Paper Pure and standard Marker stylus is priced at $399.
With this new leather sleeve folio, reMarkable is clearly targeting users who want a more premium accessory to match the clean, focused design of the Paper Pure. It may not be the cheapest option, but for anyone who carries their E Ink tablet daily and wants added protection with a more elegant look, the Forest Brown leather folio could be an appealing upgrade.
